When I was 12 I would DJ to the radio. My dad took notice and a year later asked me to help him call Square Dances. That's how I  got my first start in the Entertainment Business. That was back in back in1963.

In the mid-70s I tried to call Square Dances on my own, But after a while, it just wasn't working.

In 1977, I got my first start as DJ when asked by The Sycos to DJ music while they were on breaks and also run four 100 watts lights by hand while they were playing. Since then I have been with various bands djing and running Light Shows as well as on my own.

In 1998 I created my own Light Show. I kept the design of four spotlights and added one more to make five in all. All are run by hand. I started with a 100-watt stereo with four 100 watt speakers and a 25-watt p.a.amp.

I bought small lighting along with some of the bigger ones. I was running two cd decks and a cassette.

In 2009, I finally updated my show. I bought a laptop, Two 800 watt Power Amps, and a Mixerboard. I started to use other equipment for smaller places. That's when I started doing House Parties and djing at my place for those that couldn't afford to see my show.

In 2001 & 2002, I was going to see The Rumbles. When asked I would run errands and messages for them during the shows. I also studied the way they set up paying attention to all details of running cords and cables properly so that they wouldn't be a tripping hazard when going on and off of the stage.

In 2002 I had the chance to put some of my knowledge of running cords to use when 38 Special and The Rumbles were coming to Columbus to do a show. The Ag. Park employees were trying to run five in one cables under the stage from one corner angled across to the other so that they would end up with two feet of extra cable on top of the stage. They couldn't figure out how to do it until I showed them the right way to do it.

Today I have two shows with all professional lighting and a handful of the cheaper ones.
